Update: There was a missing closing style tag in the first version of the Wordpress widget that might result in your blog not displaying correctly when the badge is activated. I've fixed this and updated the widget to version 1.1. Please download version 1.1 of the Wordpress widget (3KB) and apologies for the hassle.

One recommendation on the badges. Most people would prefer if they had a border=0 attribute. Just a thought.

Seems like it could be a package or something that enforces the Singleton pattern in AS3. That would be pretty cool if you’re distributing code around and don’t tell people your classes might be Singletons.

Finally a use for my wordpress blog, email on the way!
Singularity has something to do with artificial intelligence and explosive technological advancements (if my science fiction knowledge serves me correctly). Unfortunately that doesn’t give away what you are up to. Maybe some sort of tracking utility, performance utility, or maybe it is a robot that eats oversized bananas and swings from tiny bonsai trees. I am hoping for the latter.

I bet it will be some web 3.0 (say ‘web 08′)(Aral already twittered about calling it ‘web 07′ instead of ‘web 2.0′ :p )(check out the singularity url) application which will expand flash and web way further than only the web… Or it might be one of my best guesses:
-A dating site for nerds
-A normal site for nerds
-Aral is paying us lots of money for putting the badge on our site, and being all excited :p
I installed and activated the plugin and it promptly killed my site (stopped any CSS styling appearing). Since it seems to work for others though I assume it’s a mod I’ve made to the theme I’m using that breaks it.
Oh well, guess I’ll just wait for the official launch

Sorry about that, I missed the closing ending tag on the style tag. I’ve updated the widget to version 1.1 which should fix that problem and I’ve updated the blog post to reflect this. Apologies for the hassle.
