Frontend2010 Oslo: my thoughts & audience feedback
Had a lovely time in Oslo last week, presenting the opening keynote for the Frontend2010 conference.

If you were following some of the tweets this morning, you may have noticed a spirited discussion on speaker expenses following Anna Debenham's announcement that she couldn't afford to speak at Future of Web Design New York and had to pull out of speaking:
How an attempt to foster new local web talent got misunderstood as a speaker expenses issue (and what we can do to make sure it doesn't happen again).
Aral Balkan, who gave what I thought was the best talk of the two days, used his Feathers iPhone App for Twitter as an example of making a useful application that is also fun to interact with.
Martin Belam from The Guardian gives FOWD a glowing review and calls my talk "the best talk of the two days".
I'm floored by your awesome feedback for my talk on Emotional Design at Future of Web Design. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you guys and gals for all your lovely feedback; I really appreciate it!
I'm going to be presenting my brand new session, Grab the Low-Hanging Fruit (or 5 Rules for Hedonistic Creatives) at Flash on the Beach next week.
The session got rave reviews at previews in Amsterdam and Belgium this week and I hope you guys will enjoy it too at FOTB in Brighton.
