Take a sneak peek at the new Singularity web site on Google App Engine. You can sign up for the site, which will go live in July, and register your interest in the conference and help me test out the deployment environment. (And yes, Singularity is inverting its colors for the second half of the year.)
Ever since I first hatched the idea for a global web conference, I've had nothing but the most encouraging support from my family, friends, fellow speakers, and the community at large. Thank you all for your sheer enthusiasm, passion, and support. It moves me when I think that everyone on the sponsors list basically came on board immediately after hearing about Singularity.
My gut feeling towards Plaxo is the same as the one I have for Real (RealVideo, etc.) -- I just don't feel a sense of trust because of how they behaved in the past. I was giving Plaxo a second chance since people told me they'd changed, etc., but -- really -- I'm on way too many social networks and I don't need my email address being wantonly exposed around the web by some third party.
