Keith Peters' exciting Brevity project, which aims to bring the simplicity of Processing to Flash, now has a
mailing list on
OSFlash. In his
blog post today, Keith mentions that there should be an initial release on the Brevity SVN repository later this week.
I just installed Parallels on my Windows box and I'm now kicking myself that I didn't do it sooner. This thing rocks. I'm installing Suse 10.1 at the moment into a virtual machine and it's whizzing by. The mouse and keyboard were completely responsive and it appears to be running at near-native speed.
Why, oh why, does the latest ultraportable notebook from Sony, the
Vaio TX3, have a TV tuner and a DVD drive?
I wish Sony would make an ultraportable without a DVD drive (I don't know about other people but I rarely use a DVD drive on the road). While they're at it, they can remove that TV tuner too.

I hear it's big in China where Apple is
reportedly manufacturing all sorts of lovely toys for us, using "200,000 workers, who work 15-hour days but are paid just $50 a month -- miserable even by China's standards." Sweat shops? Apple? Think different, dudes!
