June's classes will be the final time I teach
Foundations of Object-Oriented ActionScript 2 (June 20th & 21st) and
Best Practices Flash and Flex (June 22nd & 23rd) at our London venue. Actually, I will more than likely cancel the course in June unless we have more demand for it as apparently we currently only have two students signed up. The response to the courses so far has been great (you can read some of the enthusiastic feedback we've received on the
course pages) and I've hugely enjoyed teaching them. After June's class, I plan to give the classes a summer holiday, possibly relaunching them in September in Brighton.
If anyone is interested in signing up for June, let me know as soon as possible. There's also an early-bird discount valid until June 1st -- register your interest to take advantage of it.
It's so cool to see
OSFlash being embraced by the Flash community. Although the list and site were launched only this Friday, both have been seeing a flurry of activity that reflects the energy and drive of the open source movement.
Some highlights from the newly added pages on the Wiki:

A couple of us on the MTASC list decided that it would be a good idea to launch a
mailing list and
resource site for open source Flash projects. We decided to call it
OSFlash (for Open Source Flash). The site and list are now up and running.
At Sonke's suggestion, the site uses DokuWiki, the same engine being used by the AMFPHP project. I've been playing around with it a little tonight and really like it. I'm sure I'll integrate some features into WysiwygWiki as time goes on.
Last night, Mike Chambers spoke to a full house at the London MMUG and those of you who read between the lines and attended the session got your reward: A hearty helping of Maelstrom and 8ball in what must have been the first public showing of 8ball in the UK :)
We also raffled away a boxed copy of Studio MX Professional.
