Wow, I've never had so much communication from my blog! Since I put up the little bunny talk widget on Saturday night, I've had over 500 bunny messages! :)

There's must be some irresistible allure of anonymously communicating with me through a plastic bunny :) Actually, some of you even gave your names! How cool! (And thank you for some of the lovely messages you've been sending.)
I was thinking of displaying the last few messages on the widget so that it would be a bit more two-way but I'm not sure if that would ruin the anonymity of it to some degree. What do you think? I might just give it a shot and see.

I didn’t make it swear! honest :)
They’re pretty cool, might have to get one, would be good on a blimp.
500 or 300?
Congrats :)
I left you a message myself. Does he say everything properly or is it weird sometimes?
Perhaps you could get it to say the last message when the next message is posted (as a response) that way it’s still semi private, but you get a bit of feed back :)
um, could you not add a namefield, or an anon box? if the name is filled in it gets put on the site?
of course, it depends how many times you want

Give me the bunny
Relly
Give me the bunny
Relly
Give me the bunny
etc ;-)
@Thom: Ah, it must have been ten other people, then! :)
@Zach: At first I thought it was 300 but I wasn’t counting the ones I had archived. So it’s actually 500 :)
@Rob and @Relly: Thanks for the suggestions — I need to do some bunny hacking shortly!
I think you need a Red5 powered bunnycam :P
Yes, a bunny-cam would be splendid! And we should be able to reserve time-slots so we can tell our friends to when to watch the bunny. Okay, at the very least, have a “best of the bunny” collection. (-:
The talking bunny is hilarious. I’m curious to see how far you take this!
Thinking about it, I may set up my mac mini at home to take messages and speak them using say in terminal!!!
Bunny on the cheap!
Hmm, will think about the bunny cam idea :)
I’m definitely going to be publishing the best bunny messages (some of you have been great — sending jokes, songs, etc.)
@Rob: But what about the ear, the ears… you gotta have the ears! :)
Hummmm may have to be software ears…. ascii art! http://www.atariarchives.org/bcc1/pages/page120.gif
Hi Aral,
Thank you for SWX … thank you for re-introducing the concept of fun back into my life! The first thing I did with SWX was make my own little version of Bunny Talk … I was going to do it as a sort of Wabbit Confession box … but thought that maybe people would then feel they had to confess rather than just sending me more profoundness.
Anyway, after being a Flash developer for quite a long time, doing these sorts of things reminds me why I started in the first place. So I just wanted to say thanx.
… now for phase 2 of my mashing fun …. I’m going to make a kind of global hide and seek game with flikr and geotags … he he he.
Cheers muchly,
Space Monki
Hey Space Monki,
I just sent you a message but thought I’d write something here too. I love the Wabbit kerminukater and I’m so happy to hear that you’re having fun!
Here’s the link to the widget, by the way, in case people don’t click on your name:

Hey Aral,
i sent you a message too.
I’ve seen those rabbits online somewhere somewhen, but i can’t remember:
Does he read the message for you?
Anyway: the cam-idea is great.
I wonder if i send your bunny a message now: will it wake you up again?? :p
Ciao man!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all the lovely messages everyone.
I will have to add a blog sometime so that I can reply to all the nonny mice messages ;-) The receiving wabbit’s name is, “Wyona Wabbit” – as in why own a rabbit – answer, because its just so much fun :-) We’re based in Kent and build eLearning applications … well, one of us does … the other one reads out messages, tells me jokes … but mostly sits on a desk and flashes her bottom (she’s seems happy with this arrangement!)
Anywayz, thanx to everyone for all the encouraging messages,
Love and Peace,
Space Monki
Hiya Aral,
Seen Niel’s site yet ?
He created a variation on your natzabag flash app, but then in AIR.
Cheers and keep up the good fun work !
