In 2008, over one thousand people experienced the world’s first virtual web conference. Together, we created a new type of conference that is environmentally-friendly, affordable, and interactive.

In 2009, we are going to take it one step further.

Mark June 15 on your calendars: OFLA 2

OFLA 2, the second Open Source Flash Conference is scheduled for June 15th, 2007.

I'm going to present on OSFlash in general, and my latest baby, SWX, in particular. And there's a great lineup of other speakers: John Grden (Red5), Ralph Hauwert (Papervision3D), Cortlandt Winters (OpenLaszlo/Flex/Flash/Haxe/ActionStep), Firdosh Tangri (ASWing), Nicolas Cannasse (Haxe), and Igor Costa (Flex/Granite Data Services).

The conference is going to be held online and attendance will be free of charge.

As more information becomes available, we will post it on OSFlash.

    Go Go OFLA 2,

Aral answer your comment About SWX, yes I’ve been using on my Flex projects and only I can say it’s so easy to exchange Data Objects that I never imagine before.
Thanks dude to make so easy way to approach things like that.

Developing things easy it’s hard make them too easy it’s wonderful.

    Best

Thanks for letting us know when, but where will it be held and is there a website for it?

Igor, that’s very cool — let’s talk very soon as I’d love to hear more about your experience using SWX with Flex. I’ve only used it to create the SWX Analyzer and have been concentrating on Flash Lite and (AS2) ActionScript implementations. Sounds like I will be devoting some time to streamlining it for Flex too (so you don’t have to use the debug method to get your data!) :)

Chris: The URL/signup information and time will be up on OSFlash (and I’ll blog it too) as soon as they’re available.
