I’ve tried and tried and I give up …. I’ve tried all the suggestions on various forums … nothing works … Adobe Flash WILL NOT play on my VISTA Home Premium with IE7 or IE8 RC1. I also have Google Chrome and Safari installed, and Flash works AOK with those browsers installed on VISTA. Thus, I must conclude that the Flash problems has something to do with the Microsoft IE7 or IE8 browsers as installed on VISTA. Note: Flash works AOK on my Windows XP computers running IE7. I really wish it would work on VISTA.

My IE won’t accept flash player either. I have had to download Foxfire and Avant and they work without any problems. I believe it is an IE problem.

hey i installed flash player 9
i even tryed to see if there was an flash player 9 for vista
and i couldent find 1 but anyways i have flash player 9
but it doesnt work i still cant go on the site that i want to go on
there might be a flash player 8 or something on my comp but i cant find it
or my internet might be blocking something help me please this sucks

Hello,

Im trying to debug a project on Flex 2 Builder (Vista). After aprox 1 minute it says: Failed to connect: session timed out, 1. You compiled your Flash Aplication with debugging on (obviusly, i did). 2. You are running the Debug version of the flash player.
I already updated the Flash Player version from the Abode site (attending adobe suggestions) and I run the setup in administrator mode but still having the same problem. When I do right-click in IE7 “About Adobe Flash Player 9″ it says version 9,0,115,0 and it’s supposed to be 9,0,28,0.

Any suggestion?

I had problems loading sound in Flash 9,0,45,0 but after finding this post I upgraded to 9,0,115,0 and that seems to have sorted it out.

I too am having the same problems as candi and william. I have tried many uninstall/reinstalls to no avail. I would greatly appreciate if anyone had a fix/workaround for this. Thanks.

I have downloaded many times adobe flashplayer 9.0 ..I have uninstalled/reinstalled several times, and the site always says I have successfully downloaded this program. I have restared my computer, and it still does not work when I go back to the site than requires the new flash player. These sites include MSn most of their videos that I need to play.

Can anyone please help.

Hi Candi, Try restarting your computer and see if that helps. If it doesn't, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Flash player.
