Relly just created a piece of leggo art, a stretch hummer that she'll be setting loose soon. I can't wait to see if and when it's picked up and added to!

AS3 leggo mindstorm API will be on OSFLASH in hours. I can feel it.
hey a.
i had a brief discussion with a canadian lecturer called eric dymond about the new media art credentials of lego back in the summer. in a nutshell, we both felt that it personified an interesting halfway house between the physical world and the pixelated world, between work and play, between adulthood and childhood and had scope for investigation. i was hoping (read ‘am planning’) to look into the possibilities of lego, especially utilising the casey reas’ processing language and/or the net sometime [early, hopefully] next year. brighton’s a good place for it i reckon.
i’ll keep an eye on what you’re doing with leggoart. keep it up!

Hi Wade,
LOL! I’m not sure anyone would leggo of a mindstorms robot. Then again, who knows?
Hi Richard,
Thanks — would love to hear more about what you guys start playing with.
Hey get me and my ‘hummer’. I think Paul will be releasing it in the pub for me later … hopefully I’ll have some news after Christmas
Coolness — the new site should be ready for then
