The open source Flash Commodore 64 emulator project lead by Darron Schall and Claus Wahlers was mentioned on Digg this week. I finally got the chance to play with the latest version and it's amazing how much progress they've made in such a little time. From its AS3-only beginnings they now have a fully-blown Flex application that wraps the emulator with menu options, games, etc. None of which was there, what? Last week? Amazing stuff.
