Keith Peters is working on what is essentially going to be Processing for Flash. Called Brevity, this new open source tool will comprise an IDE, parser and AS3 Library and, according to Keith, there will be a limited public release next week. I can't wait to get my mittens on this baby. It is going to fill a great need now that AS3 is not as easy to pick up and play with for visual experiments. In fact, it's going to fill basically the same need that Processing does for Java.
