Aral, are you parsing the http://weblogs.macromedia.com/podcast/ RSS feed for podcast files (mp3, etc) in order to load the podcast into your player? If not, is there some way I can query only for the podcast files and not the blog posts?

Hey Eric, what do you see when the app loads? (Anything?) I just slapped this together while listening to the podcast so I used the media playback component (which I hadn’t used before). I didn’t test it on a Mac — could it be that there’s some incompatibility… will check today.

About downloading/changing the mp3: The little app actually parses the RSS feed and loads the mp3 directly — it wouldn’t be much use as a podcast player otherwise I guess

I can’t get your little app to work - but the mp3 must be at a bit rate that Flash doesn’t like. I have run into this myself in the past. Download their mp3 and change the rate to something else and watch it work fine.
