In 2008, over one thousand people experienced the world’s first virtual web conference. Together, we created a new type of conference that is environmentally-friendly, affordable, and interactive.

In 2009, we are going to take it one step further.

Tim O’Reilly Update

Tim held a wonderful session at the joint London MMUG and UK CFUG meeting last night on the Open Source Paradigm Shift.

It was a great honor to get to meet and talk with one of the great minds in our field and, based on audience comments following the event, everyone loved the event. Some very interesting issues were raised in the Q&A session at the end, on topics ranging from the future of Central to his thoughts on emerging Socialware applications.

Pictures from the event are now up on the MMUG web site, courtesy of Emilie Wood.
