It’s exactly 20 years since Adobe unleashed Photoshop 1.0, and we celebrate by asking creative experts about their lives with the all-conquering image behemoth… So to celebrate its 20th birthday we got in touch with some of the top names in our big creative address book and asked them about their relationship with Photoshop.

Gross. It’s amazing how talented developers can make awful design choices. Apparently the barrier of entry for Photoshop is too easy. It’s much easier to be a shitty designer than a shitty coder. Anyone can shit out a PSD and save to JPG.
Its far simpler to paint than to write – true for most of mankinds history. Painting good or bad is relative, meaning: The viewer judges. Same for code. Reasonable to argue both is still same difficult. I love Photoshop.
