Apple or BBC?
Just got the weirdest 404 page on Apple.com (see the screenshot, below), displaying the BBC News and BBC Sport logos and links to the BBC homepages when I tried to access http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/email_chat/

A couple of people on Twitter have remarked that they don’t get the same thing — the current consensus appears to be that it’s some sort of “weird DNS caching bug”.

I got that 404 message when browsing the BBC Sports site at work. I was using Vista
and I cleared my cache and the story I wanted magically appeared!

I’m going to guess it’s your ISP. Similar thing just happened here in Canada with the major Local ISP, ‘Rogers’. Basically in partnership with Yahoo, if an address cant be found your browser is automatically forewarded to a Rogers/Yahoo search/advertising page.
