Important note for pre-announcement Singularity badge holders
This is a note for my earliest supporters; those of you who put up Singularity badges on your blogs and sites before Singularity was even revealed as a web conference. If you're part of this group, you will have had an email from me when Singularity was revealed*.
The Important note for pre-announcement Singularity badge holders article by Aral Balkan, unless otherwise expressly stated, is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 2.0 UK: England License.
As I promised you back in February, your ticket, and one for your friend will be half price.
To collect on your offer, buy a ticket at full price and forward me the email you received from me* as proof, and ask for one of these two options:
- For a refund of half the price of the ticket, or
- For one free ticket to be added to your account.
And we'll get it taken care of right away.
(Note that you can assign and reassign your tickets to anyone you like up until the start of the conference.)
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for supporting me and Singularity from the earliest days, even before you knew what it was 
You guys rock!
* The one which the subject "Singularity" that has a section titled "A thank-you present", which you should have received on February 2nd.

Hey Aral,
I might be overlooking something, but are we supposed to pay the ticket first, so you can pay it back later on? (Seen as I haven’t got a paypal account, nor a credit card this can get pretty problematic :p )

Hey Ronny,
Yep, that’s right. Sorry for the round-about way of doing things but it’s just easier that building all that functionality into the app at the moment. We only accept payments via PayPal currently (though you can pay be credit card on PayPal if you don’t have an account).
If you’re having trouble — just get in touch with me and we’ll sort something else out.

Hey Ivan,
Did you put it on in before February (before the conference was revealed?) The discount was for people who put the badge on their blogs prior to February. If so, please just let me know and we’ll definitely give you the discount.
