Our friends at Mozilla are trying to set a world record today for the most software downloaded in 24 hours to mark the launch of Firefox 3.
To support the effort, we're running a pro bono ad for Firefox Download Day on Pistach.io.

Go pledge your support for Firefox Download Day 2008 and download Firefox 3.

Hi Aral, I haven’t heard any of the Mozilla folks back off on that “most downloaded in 24 hours” bit, have you?

I’m much happier on Day #2 because my web developer tool bar plug-in has been updated to work in FF3. I was really bummed when ALL my FF plug-ins didn’t work in FF3.
Now I have to get my Silverlight apps to work in FF3 grrr. Good thing Flash seems to have had no ill effects in the upgrade!
Ted mentioned a while back that firefox probably wouldn’t touch how many times flash player gets downloaded on any given day…..
