WTF? Adobe not working on Flash for iPhone after all.
First Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen announced that they were working on Flash for the iPhone, now Adobe clarifies that no, they're actually not.
You know, I don't even have the energy to go into the details. Here, read this.
Damn you Apple for hooking me in with your wonderfuckingly cool UI and then shackling me with your sub-par feature-set. I want my Flash Player and my 3G, you hear?
You've spoilt me; I can't use any other handset now without feeling like I'm handling ancient relic and yet I can't do simple things like copy-and-paste and connect my laptop to the Internet through my phone.

Ditto that… the blogosphere had a meltdown this week. Bill Perry and Mike Downey have a more down-to-earth perspective:

I wonder what Apple is afraid of, banning Flash from the iPhone. Looks to me like some M$-ish move to build a monopoly on something.
In a few years they will get sued by everything and everyone and eventually make Flash possible on the iPhone. You’ll see.
Or maybe they just integrate Silverlight.

Ahhh, Im loving my Motorola Q, with 3G bridging to my laptop, copy and paste, and soon to have Flash Lite and Adobe Reader LE… and it only cost me $149! Maybe I can’t flip it sideways or fondle the screen, but I can’t say I have any complaints with it…

While i’ve not seen it posted, a merger between adobe and apple would create the most formidable anti-microserfs consortium we’ve seen yet!! That and a damn fine platform i should imagine!!
