@Jon: Great! I hope the extended deadline will mean that you get the chance to enter the other sites you’re working with SWX too. (Was great to meet you person at FITC, btw.)

Ditto here. I’m currently moving all the stuff on my game portal site (www.thecodezone.com) from remoting to SWX, as that Flash Lite ‘ll trivialize getting the site to work on Flash Lite clients. Also, I wasn’t planning to open-source my site :)

One note. The contest page still says that the deadline is 10/28.

To promote the product, and encourage further development, he had organised a competition with some really great prizes, including Adobe Web Suite Premium, a Nabaztag/tag bunny and an iPod Touch. The downside was that he announced the competition in early October and had a closing date at the end of October. So I – probably along with a bunch of others – looked at the idea, thought the prizes were great, but decided I didn’t have time. If like me, you therefore abandoned your plans, then great news: the deadline has been extended to the 2nd December. If you hadn’t heard about it before, go to his competition page and read up on it, then get designing/ developing (though make a rubbish job of it if you are doing API stuff please as I want those prizes!)
