A quick heads up to let you guys know that I am very close to releasing Version 1.0 of SWX PHP, the first implementation of SWX RPC, along with the SWX ActionScript Library and the various SWX tools (SWX Service Explorer and SWX Data Analyzer) and the SWX PHP Flash and PHP samples.

It's been almost exactly six months since I hatched the idea and it's really exciting to be on the cusp of the release.

At this point, barring any last minute issues, Version 1.0 looks like it's going to be almost exactly the same as the current Release Candidate 1 build of SWX. I am currently working on adding some finishing touches and making a few cosmetic alterations in preparation for Version 1.0.

From the end of next week, I am going to be speaking about SWX at a string of conferences, starting with Flash Forward Boston. The session I'm presenting is called Let's Talk About SWX, Baby! I'll write up a separate post on my upcoming speaking marathon so you know where I'll be and when. Do try and catch the sessions if you can -- I promise they will be fun and informative. (And you'll be among the first to see the latest and greatest SWX!)
